As part of Cyber Monday sales, we've seen many of Nintendo's top franchises -- like Mario, Pikmin, Splatoon, Zelda, Pokémon and more -- cut in price, and although we're past the main event day, many deals are still active. This makes it the perfect time to grab titles -- and some accessories -- because the Nintendo Switch successor is confirmed to be backward compatible. These games won't be cheap for long and are likely the last chance to get some bargains for 2024.
Being the best handheld console on the market is a tough job, but the Nintendo Switch has done it with its versatility, ease of use and fantastic game library. Whether it's blockbuster adventures in The Legend of Zelda, colorful platformers -- both 2D and 3D -- with Mario or just a quiet life making friends with anthropomorphic animals in Animal Crossing, there's a treasure trove of amazing experiences to be had.

Is there a new Switch console on the way?
Considering that the Nintendo Switch first hit shelves all the way back in 2017, many people have been wondering if and when we'll see an updated version with sales now exceeding more than 145 million. Well, rumors of a Switch 2 have been making the rounds for quite some time and were recently inflamed by a potential image leak. Nintendo has yet to make an official announcement, but the company's president, Shuntaro Furukawa, has stated that we'll be introduced to the Switch's successor before April 2025. We'd expect an announcement at the beginning of 2025 and a release a few months on from that.
Is Nintendo offering any direct discounts for Cyber Monday?
You won't find any discounts on Switch consoles or accessories at Nintendo's online store, however, Nintendo did partner with retailers over the past week (though no notable deals currently). However, there are some excellent digital game deals available. This is expected to continue as we move further into the holiday shopping season.
